This new lab allows us to move into the electric vehicle battery testing industry in a 20,000-sq.ft lab space. We have the equipment and team ready to meet the increasing demand for battery testing in EV and renewable energy storage systems. Alongside our expansion, SK Innovation is building two new plants to produce the EV batteries needed in Jackson County, northeast of Atlanta. Three more manufacturing facilities for EV components could also be on the way in the near future. With all this growth, it's important to have proper safety testing available for both companies and the end consumer.
With the Boston lab acquisition, we're very excited to further our expertise in the lithium-ion battery industry.
